The original plan for today was flying out of Cleveland this evening, getting to South Africa tomorrow evening. Fifteen minutes away from the airport, I received a notification that my flight was cancelled!
I went to the airport anyway to reschedule my flight. There wasn't any options to fly out today, so I scheduled for a new flight tomorrow morning. I'm grateful this occurred while I had my sister and friends with me.
We went to a nearby hotel and checked in. I went to the hotel's gym and was feeling confused but remaining positive. As I finished up my work out, I received a notification that my flight for tomorrow also was cancelled. I was like...what...is...going...on?!
There were no flights out of Cleveland, or other airports, flying to South Africa tomorrow. The soonest I could schedule a flight was Monday morning out of Detroit. Sooo I will be coming back to Toledo tomorrow.
I appreciate all the prayers, encouragement and support. It's difficult to not understand, but I trust that God's ways are always better than mine.
Something sweet, God's hands were all over our day today.
We went to the beach to relax before heading to the airport, laid out a blanket on the rocks and as we were lying there we saw carvings on the rocks surrounding us.
"Trust in the Lord",
"Thy Word is very pure",
"He is faithful",
"Jerusalem",
"Ye must be born again",
"Now the just shall live by faith".
